Day 174 – We’re leaving Canada today after a wonderful 4 ½ months. We’ll be going through customs at Calais, ME and will be back in the Eastern Timezone. There’s a lot more of Canada that we haven’t seen yet. We’ll be back to see the rest!

Day 172-173 – The storm hit Sunday morning with lots of rain and moderate winds.

To:All Done RV Camping, Newtown, New Brunswick (NB).
Day 171 – Because we’ve traveled two days in a row, and because of tropical storm Phillipe, we are going to take an extra day in NB to relax.
BEGINNING OUR DRIVE HOME
TRAVEL DAY
From: North Sydney/Cabot Trail KOA Campground, New Harris, NS.
To:Harbour Light Campground, Braeshore, NS.
Day 170 – We were going to stay at Harbour Light Campground for two nights, but Tropical Storm Phillippe had other plans for us. We changed our plans to beat the wind and rain by moving on to NB tomorrow instead of staying another night in NS. All Done Camping in NB is located out of the predicted high wind path of the storm.
MORE RELAXING
Day 169 – Just spending one more day relaxing before we start our drive back home. Vicki is feeling better each day. We will come back to Nova Scotia again to start up where we left off!

Day 168 – We are doing lots of relaxing! The family unit is back together. We got my medications on a schedule, and we had a lobster lunch provided from the campground owners, Bonnie and Jason, to celebrate my return. What a wonderful day!

Day 167 – When Rob came in this morning, there was no one in the bed! He looked around and found me walking around the nursing station.

Day 166 – I didn’t sleep well last night. I got up by myself a couple times and walked around the nursing station. I am getting stronger and doing better with my speech, reading and writing. I’m still not hungry, but each day I am able to eat a little more. I was sitting up in a chair all day because I couldn’t stand being in bed. I got a new doctor as a new week-long shift came on duty. I should get the results of my cardiac monitor tomorrow, but so far they have seen no issues.
I wanted to thank all my friends and family for their support!
Happy Birthday, Ron! Belated, we got behind. Hope it was a good day!
GETTING BETTER
Day 165 – I’m continuing to feel better each day though I still have problems reading and writing. My speech continues to improve, but I still need help with words. Nonetheless, we are extremely thankful that things are coming along as well as they are! I walked a few times around the nursing station with Rob’s help. Rob stayed all day again. I miss the cats!! Rob says I am smiling a lot when he comes in the morning.

THE MEDICAL SAGA CONTINUES
Day 164 – It felt wonderful to have a semi-private room away from the chaos of the ER, with the constant equipment alarms and activity.
