HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAREN OKIMOTO! WE HOPE IT WAS A SPECIAL DAY FOR YOU.
Day 107 – We were out the door at 9 a.m. Partly cloudy, 58 degrees, the rain has stopped. Into Machias this morning for the dreaded laundry day. Maybe we should build a very tiny house for a washer & dryer. Much better than driving 45 minutes to wash clothes, LOL. Rob was able to have his coffee at the cliff this morning.

Day 106 – It started raining at 6 p.m. last night and continued raining all day today & most of the night. I’m not sure if we even opened the door to the RV, let alone went outside today. Cold, wet, and blustery. Yawn…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DUANE! ENJOY YOUR SPECIAL DAY!
Day 105 – We went to bed early & got up late this morning – lazy bones. 42 degrees, partly cloudy, windy. Supposed to rain tonight & tomorrow.
Not much happening today; it was 57 degrees & cloudy, fairly windy. Went into town briefly to mail the taxes & look for a saw blade at the hardware store. A slow day watching the lobster boats go by……

Day 104 – Sunny, a little wind, 40 degrees this morning. This time Rob wore a heavier jacket out to sit on the cliff. His coffee can only keep him so warm…..

Day 103 – Fall officially begins today according to the calendar. It seems that it’s been fall here for a little while already. Beautiful out this morning – sunny & clear. 39 degrees though, Brrrr. Nevertheless, Rob still had his coffee outside. The kitties & I are cuddled inside the RV with the heat on.

Day 102 – Still quite windy this morning but the rain had stopped & it was clear & sunny. 55 degrees. We took a morning walk, our first of many I’m sure, out to the mail boxes. I clocked it on my VivoFit – just under 1-1/2 miles round trip (1.48 mi.), a nice walk to do daily when the weather allows it. We actually had mail – a flyer. Our first mail here. Never thought we’d be excited to see a flyer! LOL.

Day 101 – 45 degrees, sunny, 7:30 a.m. It’s supposed to cloud up & there’s a gale warning for tonight with high winds. Rob sat outside with his coffee. Brrrrr. The lobster boats were busy going in & out of the harbor this morning.

Day 100 – Clear & sunny at 7:30 this morning, 50 degrees. We turned the heat on this morning. A sign of things to come. It doesn’t bother Rob to sit outside on the cliff in the mornings, even when it’s much colder. He says that his coffee keeps him warm. I will take mine inside curled up with a blanket, thank you very much!
