BLACKWATER NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE.

Day 17 – We spent most of the morning with the girls, knowing we might be getting back to the RV a little later this evening. It was a beautiful, but windy, day (until we got to the Refuge and wanted to take some pictures, LOL, but the sun did come out occasionally from the clouds that had formed).

Day 16 – We had a little time this morning with the girls before leaving for Easton. It rained most of the night and was windy. They were a little spooked by the wind. We hate to leave them and our tiny home on wheels, but they do get lots of sleep when we’re not here. Boredom should be setting in soon, though.

Day 15 – The campground was very quiet last night and we slept well. The only campers we could see anywhere around us left this morning. Weekdays are the best! We were up and out the door without hanging around, for a day in Easton, MD, arriving at Gail’s house a little after 10 a.m. It was warm and humid. Rain is expected later.

TRAVEL DAY: LAUREL, DELAWARE TO DENTON, MARYLAND.

Day 14 – We were surprised by some rain last night. This morning it was 52 degrees and cloudy. Our destination today was Martinak State Park in Denton, MD. We didn’t have too far to travel. We departed Trap Pond State Park, along with most of the other campers going home from their weekend camping adventures, and waited in line to dump tanks. It was 11:55 a.m. when we left the park, 60 degrees and cloudy.
