TRAVEL DAY
From: East Fork State Park, Bethel/Batavia, Ohio (OH).
To: Forked Run State Park, Reedsville, OH.
Day 389 – We woke up this morning feeling a lot better than yesterday, but still extremely tired. We’d gotten so much sleep in the last 36 hours, and we’d been able to keep stuff in our stomachs (although we still were not the least bit hungry). We very slowly moved towards leaving this campground, figuring it’s the weekend and if we didn’t keep these revised reservations, new ones would probably not be available.

We departed at 12:05 p.m. after dumping tanks and getting drinking water. We arrived at our new campground at 3:10 p.m. The drive was mostly on two-lane highways without much traffic.

We’d stayed at Forked Run State Park once before and liked it. It does help to know in advance about the campground you’re staying at and that the campsite will be a good one. We are located near the West Virginia border, and our drive tomorrow should be shorter than today’s drive. We’re doing nothing but relaxing as much as possible until we’re 100% back up in running. The high today was 77 degrees and it was sunny.

A HUGE thank you to those of you that were concerned; but don’t worry, we’re slowing our pace down a bit and taking good care of each other. Thank you, Sophie, for your recommendations.
