Day 189 – The stormy weather returned with high winds, big waves, and lots of rain. The waves were rolling in and the wind was blowing the spray – pretty wild. We made a video, but had to cut it down in size because it wouldn’t load on the computer, so it may not look as impressive as it really was.

Day 188 – We didn’t see much of the sun today and storms are arriving again tonight. Tomorrow we are scheduled to leave for our next campground, also near the ocean, but back from it a bit; the view won’t be nearly as good. We spent a lot of today looking out to sea, a very relaxing way to pass time.

Day 187 – We had hail again this morning, cold and windy out. The sun yesterday was so nice…….oh well. This morning we changed sites again, this time moving to campsite #4, oceanfront for two days.
SIGHTSEEING (AND NO RAIN)!
Day 186 – It was 35 degrees this morning and the campsite picnic table was icy. The campground host had said to watch out for black ice early this morning if we went anywhere. Early this morning? We weren’t going out early, that’s for sure.

Day 185 – It rained less last night and the wind died down, but it was 37 degrees this morning when we got up. Cold! The cat’s new best bird friend visited; we think the girls will hate to leave all this excitement today and will miss the Wrentit when we depart.

Day 184 – The low was 37 degrees last night. Today was still rainy and windy, so we didn’t get that sightseeing done. More trip planning and we had some errands to run in Florence. Since we were going there anyway, why not have lunch at the Fresh Harvest Cafe again? The food was very good. At the RV, the little Wrentit visited, actually teased, the girls several times today, but we didn’t have a good picture opportunity. Tomorrow we leave the Florence area, which we liked very much, and we continue north along the coast.

Day 183 – With this wind, it is bitterly cold – 39 degrees this morning, with windchill, 34 degrees. People camp in this? LOL.

Day 182 – 40 degrees this morning, it rained most of the night. The temperature dropped into the upper 30’s during the morning, then rose to 48 degrees by 4 p.m. It was windy. We hunkered down and stayed inside.

Day 181 – It was cold, windy, and it rained all night – 39 degrees. We didn’t have to leave our site until noon, so we took our time this morning, watching most of the other RVs depart.
OUT & ABOUT BEFORE THE HEAVY RAINS.
Day 180 – I said we don’t eat out much; I guess I lied because we ate out twice again today. The storm front we’d been hearing about is approaching with lower temperatures, heavy rain & wind. Today it rained buckets for a couple of hours, stopped for an hour or two, then repeat, changing to all heavy rain throughout the night.
