Day 198 – It rained hard during the night and it was pretty muddy out this morning. The rain showers came & went all day long; it was really beautiful out after a shower when everything was glistening in the sunlight.

Day 197 – It rained last night and hailed this morning, at 7:35 a.m. it was 47 degrees out. We were supposed to be out of this campground by 11 a.m. but supposedly couldn’t check in at our next campground until 4 p.m. Our drive was only going to be about an hour and a half. We were wondering what we were going to do in between check-out and check-in times. Finding a parking space when you are in a RV towing a car really narrows down where you can go.
THE RAIN RETURNS.
Day 196 – It rained last night and there’s more rain coming. We hung out at the RV until lunch time. While the sun temporarily peaked out from all the clouds, we went outside and took pictures – birds, flowers, etc. We’d been spending most of our time at this campground away from the campsite and had neglected capturing what was right in front of us.

Day 195 – It’s supposed to start raining again tonight, and even though it may be cloudy today and not the best day to do a scenic drive, we figured better now than never.

Day 194 – Today was a busy day and we were away from the RV for most of it. The cats appeared to be glued to the dashboard all day. The high today was 59 degrees and it was mostly sunny.

Day 193 – At 7:30 a.m. this morning it was 46 degrees and cloudy, and it was NOT raining! Now the weather gets nice – when we’re leaving this area. Oh well. We took one last look at the ocean waves crashing on the rocks, packed up & departed at 10:55 a.m. Still not raining & partly cloudy.
Day 192 – Still windy & raining, dreary out & cold, we sound like a broken record. Today we made two loaves of garlic bread to freeze, because someday it will be sunny and we will be glad it was already done. LOL. Tomorrow we are leaving to go farther north to Garibaldi, Oregon, not far from Tillamook. Saturday morning we have an appointment to get new tires and an alignment for the Honda.

Day 191 – It rained most of the day but we did get some fresh air when we went out to brunch. We caught up with some paperwork/bills, did more trip planning, cuddled with the cats and napped.
