A QUIET DAY.
Day 201 – It rained hard all night and into the morning, then rained lightly until later in the afternoon. We may have a day without rain tomorrow. WOW. It will be a travel day for us as we leave Oregon and head north to Washington. We LOVED the Oregon coast! Great people, plenty to do, and really gorgeous scenery. We hope to come back again.

Day 200 – NO SIGNAL – we are having problems getting a signal; therefore blog posts may be held up. Sorry! We got together in the afternoon with Rob’s cousins and went out for an early dinner in Astoria. While the other meals we’ve had out with them since we got here had been excellent, this one was exceptional. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who happened to be in the area.Bridgewater Bistro, 20 Basin Street, Astoria, OR, (503) 325-6777, reservations recommended.

Day 199 – Still raining on and off, temperatures ranging from the low 40’s at night to the mid-50’s in the daytime. The Elk were wandering through the campground this morning.

Day 198 – It rained hard during the night and it was pretty muddy out this morning. The rain showers came & went all day long; it was really beautiful out after a shower when everything was glistening in the sunlight.

Day 197 – It rained last night and hailed this morning, at 7:35 a.m. it was 47 degrees out. We were supposed to be out of this campground by 11 a.m. but supposedly couldn’t check in at our next campground until 4 p.m. Our drive was only going to be about an hour and a half. We were wondering what we were going to do in between check-out and check-in times. Finding a parking space when you are in a RV towing a car really narrows down where you can go.
