Day 39 – Windy & cloudy, 53 degrees yet again, 6:45 a.m. Not much happening at the Harbor this morning. The sun came out briefly today but it stayed fairly windy. It started raining in the afternoon and continued raining steadily into the evening. It’s certainly October now and the weather changes as winter approaches.

Day 38 – 7 a.m. this morning it was 53 degrees, cloudy and windy. Rob didn’t stay outside for long. It remained windy all day, but the sun did come out some this afternoon. The temperature never got above 56 degrees. We went into town briefly to run a few short errands. Empty, only two cars parked on the main street. Back at the RV, Gracie was posing on the dashboard, happily relaxing. And that’s about it for today.

Day 37 – We are becoming convinced that the mouse has left the building. The girls, except for an occasional sniff at the grate opening when passing by, are no longer interested. If the mouse was still there, they would be continuing tag-team behavior.

Day 36 – No sign of that mouse yet; the girl’s vigil has been more relaxed. Maybe it found its way out of the RV, hopefully. 7:15 a.m. this morning, 37 degrees & sunny. Rob had a cold but productive birding coffee time at the cliff.

GOOD DAY SUNSHINE.
Day 35 – We woke up to full sun, YAAA! 44 degrees though, but Rob spent a lot of time on the cliff with his coffee; he said there was lots going on at low tide – a great blue heron fishing, sandpiper-like birds tromping around in the mud, and two sea gulls eating a crab. We’ll see if it’s warm enough for kayaking when the tide comes back in.

NEVER A DULL MOMENT IF YOU ARE A CAT.
Day 34 – What a difference a day makes, again. Dense fog this morning, lasted all day, not a bit of sun. 57 degrees all day. Yawn. We caught up with some more paperwork, took care of some more business, read our books, and again, nothing much happening. As always, the lobster boats go out & come back later with the day’s haul. Tomorrow is another day though; maybe if the weather is nice, we’ll kayak out in the Harbor.
