HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RON! TAKE SOME TIME TO ENJOY!
Day 33 – Hey, Ron. It’s a big one for you – enjoy your upcoming weekend!
What a difference a day makes. Woke up this morning to full sun, just a breeze, 53 degrees, low humidity, and no more rain & fog – for now at least. We walked all of our trails & enjoyed the beauty. The water was a little muddy, therefore it didn’t have that incredible turquoise color, but as the day wore on & the tide came in and went back out, we got our turquoise back. Throughout the day we saw bald eagles, cormorants, great blue herons, sea gulls, and plenty of squirrels chasing each other through the woods.
After lunch our neighbor, Diane, stopped by and walked some of the trails with us. Then we all settled down in chairs by the screened tent, chatting & enjoying the cliff side view. SO good to see you, Diane. Later Rob & I went to the tent until it was time to make dinner. The high today was 62 degrees – a beautiful day.
