Day 79 – We were surprised that they were still having weather in the 90’s at home in NY. Seems like this was a pretty hot summer there; glad we missed most of it. We shall stop complaining about the humidity here! Rob was up at 6:00 a.m., and I was up at 7. The girls have definitely figured out who to pounce on in the morning when they want breakfast. 58 degrees, cloudy & breezy.
The sun peeked out very briefly today, then went back into hiding behind the clouds. It was quite breezy and never got above 64 degrees. A big change in the weather; you never know. We stayed inside for part of the day after paying for 3 more nights at this campground. We’ll be leaving Sunday.
Later in the afternoon we ventured outside into the tent, with blankets, LOL. And yesterday we were sweating. Labor Day Weekend begins soon. Some campers began arriving late afternoon. The campsite availability map at the Ranger’s Station shows only one site free, a Handicapped Site. The kitties have been quite the cuddly babies, looking for warmth today. We’ll actually be closing the windows tonight. It’s supposed to be in the low 40’s. That’s fine with us!
