Day 118 – I looked at the calendar this morning & saw that 14 years ago, today, we first saw our land. We knew instantly that this was the land we’d been looking for. We made an offer that same day. Day 115 – Full sun, no clouds, 46 degrees, lovely at 7:30 a.m. Rob sat outside with his coffee. He said the harbor water is already clearing & is now a brown green. It helps everytime the tide goes in & out. Rob is off working in the woods. From inside the RV, I have a very nice view of the sun sparkling on the water. Looks like we’ll be visiting the screened tent this afternoon.

Day 112 – Cold, 43 degrees. It started raining at 7:45 this morning and it rained steadily all day. One of those indoor kind of days. The kitties love it when it rains & we are inside with them all day. And we get to see them when they chase back & forth thru the RV when in manic mode. We took the rainy-day opportunity and caught up with some stuff. Also, cooked for several hours, making large batches of Rob’s Garlic Cheese Bread to freeze & lots of fixings for Fish Tacos. Ted stopped by for a visit. Thanks, Ted, good seeing you! The high was a whopping 53 degrees, lots of rain, windy at times.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RON!  WE HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT CELEBRATION!

Day 111 – Rain this morning, 50 degrees, very cloudy. It wasn’t long before it stopped raining, but it remained cloudy all day. In the afternoon Rob went outside to do a little work, and it turned into several hours of tree cutting & clearing. He loves this kind of work. The view now extends all the way along the cliff, through the remaining trees, to the water. And except for a couple of dead trees, that part is finished. It looks great & the remaining live trees should thrive with the increase in sunlight & more room to grow.
