Day 119, Tuesday – It rained most of last night. Quite windy this morning when we got up, cloudy & a little foggy, 56 degrees (warmer than yesterday’s high). Changeable weather! Rob went out with his coffee. Said he sat out & watched the mighty trees swaying above him.
Great Blue Heron, Cliff Haven, ME
Very cloudy & windy all day with a high of 58 degrees. Rob worked outside in the morning & I did some food prep, grocery list, etc. We walked around the trails later in the day & sat outside briefly but with the wind, it quickly was too cold.
Day 120, Wednesday – It rained a little last night but oddly, when we got up this morning, the temperature had risen to 64 degrees during the night. That was the warmest it got all day with the temperature dropping slowly into the evening & heavy rain beginning around 10 p.m.
During the day we did get some sun & we spent most of our time in the screened tent. Tough day – we read our books, napped, and relaxed until it got colder & we went inside later in the day. Rob was a little sore from all the cliff-climbing, dragging cut trees up to the pad for the chipping/shredding. Just a small area of clean up left & he’s done with that for this year. He’s got other projects to work on then & I’ll start up the old, mighty chipper/shredder.
