HAPPY SAINT PATRICK’S DAY!
Day 188 – Saint Patrick’s Day is a really big deal in St. Louis – big parades, everyone in green, parties & celebrations – we’d been warned about the possibilities of traffic problems, so we went around the City & it worked out well. We were starting our trek towards Louisville, KY.

Day 187 – The weather changed dramatically yet again – very windy when we got up, very cloudy, 41 degrees. Looks like it will rain any minute. Today we are going to see Jake do his thing at the dog show.
AUGUST A. BUSCH MEMORIAL CONSERVATION AREA.
Day 186 – Beautiful day, no wind, clear sunny skies, 41 degrees when we got up. We hung around for a bit, packed a lunch, and went to a great wildlife area about 20 minutes from the campground.
Day 185 – We got up at 6 a.m., 25 degrees. Gayle picked us up at 8:00 and we all went to take Jake to doggie school. This was an agility class. It was quite interesting; it’s not just the dog, so much depends on the owner’s ability to communicate their wishes to the animal and the way they work together. And it’s good exercise, physically & mentally, for both the dog & the owner.
Day 184 – When we got up this morning, it was 26 degrees and sunny. We left at 10:10 a.m. after dumping tanks & getting fresh water. Five Deer ran alongside as we left the State Park, their fluffy white tails blowing in the wind.
