NOT DOING MUCH MORE.
Day 314 – It’s supposed to be 89 degrees here today. We were moving around as little as possible – my favorite kind of day, LOL. At least there was a good breeze; we spent the afternoon in the tent.
Right after lunch we drove into town (Terrace). We needed a small propane tank for the RV filled up. And we were looking for some sealant for a repair Mr. Fix-It made to the generator. We readily found the propane, but after driving all over town we discovered all the stores were closed because it was a Sunday. When did that happen? We never know what day it is.
On the way back to our campsite we drove through the campground to check it out (about time – we are leaving here tomorrow). It’s a small campground and there are plenty of trees throughout for shade. What seems to draw most the people here was the day use area. There are beaches and the creek’s water pools in places, making good swimming and wading holes. Very nice. Where the water runs by the campsites, it is shallower with rocks and boulders, and the sound of the rushing water is great.
