Sunday, Day 132 – It was cooler today with a high of 62 degrees, and it was a little windy. We picked up lunch at Jersey Mike’s and went over to visit one of our closest friends, Ernie. His mother, who I had not seen in more than 40 years, was there also. It was so great to see you both! Take care of yourselves. Ernie and Maedi: Hang in there; please try to have hope; we LOVE you. Maedi: books are on the way.
Monday, Day 133 – Yesterday, we stopped at a hardware store and Rob picked up some washers to help align the new moon roof. Another job completed. We met our friends Mark & Mark, (and prospective parents to puppy, Luca), at Domenico’s in Belmont Shores for lunch. We were there for hours. The food was very good, the company even better. Thanks, both of you for coming all the way down here. We’re very happy for you and Luca! It is always great to see you.
Tuesday, Day 134 – It looks like a storm front is coming through, cloudy & very windy today, and there was even some rain. Today was a busy day. We went to look for specific beer that Rob has been looking to restock, then went to his sister’s house to go through some of his mom’s things. We had a nice visit with Rob’s sister. Afterwards we went to Ron, Sophie, and Maple’s house for dinner and a visit with their cats, Pepper & Cheetah. We got a tour of their house with the many renovations they have done. Excellent job, everyone! Sophie, thanks for all your hard work making such an incredible dinner. All three of you: thanks for everything; we had a great time.
