HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CATHIE! WE HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL YEAR, AND WE’RE PRETTY SURE YOU WILL!
HAPPY TRAILS TO RON/SOPHIE/MAPLE. ENJOY YOUR VACATION!
Day 23 – More people began arriving yesterday afternoon/evening. The campground got busier. It was 43 degrees out when we got up, cloudy; we could see the bugs flying around outside. I, personally, will be glad when bug season is over.
A beautiful day today, we didn’t go anywhere but spent most of the day in the screened tent. The neighbors are quiet so far; the last time we stayed here it got very loud on the weekend. Rob braved the elements (bugs) and stalked birds, bugs, and greenery with the camera. Click any picture below to see a slideshow.

The girls spent most of the day on the blanket-covered dashboard, basting in the sun. It reached 68 degrees today and was mostly sunny. The new battery system is working out well. We’ve remained without power, and no generator usage thus far since arriving at this campground.
