Day 133 – This morning we made a huge batch of Guacamole, our contribution to this afternoon’s lunch at Rob’s brothers’ house. While smashing avocados, we watched 3 little boys playing outside our RV.  Their parents must’ve turned them loose to destroy the campground, because we watched them meticulously ripping the beautiful flowers & plants apart in the nicely landscaped island on one side of our RV, then stuffing the flowers and plant bits into their pockets, presumably to take them home to their mom?  How sweet, LOL.

We headed to Rob’s moms’ house at 11 a.m., and hung around a bit before taking his mom & the caregiver to Ron, Sophie, & Maple’s house for a lunch of fresh fish tacos. We visited with Rob’s family and had a wonderful lunch (thank you so much Sophie, fantastic fish tacos!). We  got a tour & saw the plans for the future work on their home (wow), and Rob & Ron picked fresh lemons & grapefruit from the citrus trees in the canyon below their home. We played with their adorable kittens – Cheetah & Pepper. We’d brought them a toy that has become our cat’s favorite; they are a simple plastic coil, available from Amazon, which rolls & bounces around, and our cats just love them. Available in packages of 10, Ethical Pet Plastic Coils.

We drove back to Rob’s moms’ house in time for her early dinner, dropped them off & drove back to the RV, spending the evening with the girls, and ordering another wonderful pizza for delivery from Buono’s.  Tired, to bed early.  End of Week 19, Trip #3.

Great seeing you guys for one last get together. As you mentioned, the Ethical Pet Coil was a big hit with the cats. Who would have thought a little plastic spring could hold their attention for so long. They’re still enjoying it days later (no, not lost yet!). Enjoy your long leasurely adventure back home NY!
