Day 71 – Beginning of Week 11. It rained all night and continued throughout the day, upper 50’s. It was actually 50 degrees when we got up at 7:30 a.m. We hadn’t ventured outside even once by 3:30 p.m. The girls were enjoying themselves on their heated pads as the rain pitter-pattered on the roof of the RV.

Not a good day to go anywhere, we are skipping the drive to Fortuna to check the temperature inside the house at home. We are trusting it’s all fixed now. Hopefully, that was not a foolish decision. Before it gets dark, which won’t be long judging how dark it is right now, we hope to take a walk to the ranger station to pay the fee for tonight. We really don’t want to leave here tomorrow, and feel like we could stay here forever, or at least until it gets too crowded in the summer. It’s like our own little paradise in the redwood forest. But tomorrow we’ll have made it 7 nights without dumping, a new record. It’s time to go.
