HERE COMES THE RAIN AGAIN.
Day 42 – Woke up in the middle of the night & it had stopped raining. Still windy but no rain! Got up somewhere between 8 & 9 a.m. and very windy, no rain. 55 degrees. A few empty ocean-view campsites, no campsite shuffle this morning.
Well, short reprieve. It started raining again later in the morning, continuing until we went to bed, very heavy rain, blowing sideways. There are people here with school-age kids. I guess their weekend wasn’t much fun cooped up inside together. If they don’t have to go back home, it will get better next week according to the weather forecast – beautiful weather for at least 10 days.
We finished our books, started new ones again, sat inside the fogged-up RV, napped, working far too hard, LOL. End of Week 6, Trip #3.
We really enjoyed the previous bird pix. Terrific! We walked the Sandy Cove Trail yesterday with the Smiths. It had been violated by off the road vehicles years ago and we have been avoiding it. Time has healed the wounds. Lovely. We tried to figure out that site Lot 99 that was visited by the LUPC fellow that worked with you in July. Alas, no evidence except three swatches of survey tape that made no sense. Keep dreaming you two. Diane
