A DAY INSIDE – STORMY WEATHER.
Day 143 – The weather kept us indoors today as expected. It rained hard most of the day and it was windy, too. We did lots of cooking plus plenty of chopping for large salads for lunches. We made a Curry with Scallops over Thai Rice Noodles. Caught up with the blog.

Day 142 – It rained a little last night and that was all it took to get rid of the humidity. It was a gorgeous day today with a high of 79 degrees and a nice breeze. With the windows open again, we were happy, and so were the cats.
GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK – NORTH TO COW HEAD & BACK.
Day 141 – It was 66 degrees this morning and quite humid. The high today was 84 degrees during our drive north through Gros Morne. Actually, it was supposed to rain just after lunch time, so we went out in the morning to explore and came back to the RV in time to make lunch.
GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK – BONNE BAY BOAT TOUR.
Day 140 – Today we took a boat tour of Bonne Bay. We had reserved two places aboard the 10 a.m. cruise. The weather was good, a little hazy, but warm and mostly sunny with little wind. We took this boat ride in 2019 and enjoyed it. We were surprised when we arrived at the parking lot and found that a group of 38 passengers from a bus tour would be taking the same boat tour.

Day 139 – We took a couple of days off from the blog; now we’re back. It’s warmer here than it was up north – mid 60’s at night; mid 70’s during the day. There’s much less wind and the sun has been out most of the time so far.
WIND BE GONE.

To:Gros Morne/Norris Point KOA, Norris Point, NL.
Day 138 – We were up at 5:30 this morning so that we could leave in plenty of time before the winds got any worse. Supposedly the wind gusts would get stronger beginning around 9 a.m. The wind was strong enough as it was already. After dumping tanks, we departed Port au Choix at 7:35 a.m. It was 63 degrees, sunny but hazy and quite windy.
STRONG WINDS.
Day 137 – It was 63 degrees this morning when we got up. The wind gusts remained strong thru the night. Because of the winds, the car and RV windows appear fogged up all the time. They’re not – it’s the salt water coating everything with sea spray. The winds increased this morning and it wasn’t even comfortable to leave the RV, it was blowing so strongly. The RV was doing a bit of rocking. Supposedly the winds will decrease tonight.

Day 136 – The low temperature was 57 degrees last night; big difference from the low 40’s up north the previous night. This morning, it was still fairly windy, but less so than yesterday and last night. The girls are enjoying the sun on the dashboard.

Day 135 – The storm finally passed over some time last night, and we awoke to a much cooler day. The low temperature last night was 43 degrees. This morning it was sunny and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
RAIN, WIND, COMPUTERS AND PIZZA.
Day 134 – It was a dreary day today, but certainly not a hurricane and not a tropical storm. Thank goodness. It was 54 degrees this morning when we got up. It made it all the way to 56 before the temperature started dropping. It was raining on and off all day. In the early afternoon, it got quite windy. Still, NOT a hurricane!
