A QUIET FRIDAY.

Day 149 – The low last night was 63 degrees and we got a lot of rain with wind gusts. This morning it was very cloudy and humid. Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lee is on track to cause some damage in downeast Maine, parts of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia before heading up the Strait of Belle Isle to make less of an impact on western Newfoundland. At this point, we are more concerned about our favorite area of Maine tomorrow. Stay safe everyone!

NOT MUCH GOING ON.

Day 147 – Warming up again, it was 57 degrees this morning when we got up, and the high today was 69 degrees. It was cloudy for about half the day and later in the afternoon, the sun came out. It was another lazy day; we got things accomplished but it was at a very slow pace. The only time we went out was just to get a propane refill and go to the post office in Rocky Harbour, minor errands. Yawn.

GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK – DINNER AND A MUSEUM.

Day 146 – The Loons were calling to each other this morning from out on the Pond. This morning it was 55 degrees when we got up. It was windy and cloudy, but at least it’s not raining. We just hung out at the RV until after lunch. Maybe the sun will come out?

ANOTHER DAY AT THE CAMPGROUND.

Day 144 – It was very foggy when we got up this morning, 62 degrees. It remained cloudy/foggy all day with the high temperature dropping to 60. We won’t have good weather again until Tuesday according to the weather forecast. It’s fine, the cats love to have us here with them. We did another couple of loads of laundry; that made the girls happy, too. We did a lot of catching up around the RV and in general were very lazy.

GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK – NORTH TO COW HEAD & BACK.

Day 141 – It was 66 degrees this morning and quite humid. The high today was 84 degrees during our drive north through Gros Morne. Actually, it was supposed to rain just after lunch time, so we went out in the morning to explore and came back to the RV in time to make lunch.
