Day 113 – OooWee, quite a stormy day today! Major wind gusts, rain and fog all day, visibility zero. We weren’t the only ones who did not leave their campsites today. There wasn’t any driving anywhere at all today. The fishermen didn’t even go out.
Day 112 – The low last night was 52 degrees. This morning it was cloudy and windy. Although it’s not supposed to rain today, it’s not supposed to be sunny either; but we are going on another drive because most of the rest of the week, it’s supposed to rain all day almost every day.
Day 111 – We overslept this morning. The cats, instead of jumping on us to wake us up, a couple of them actually climbed under the covers and went back to sleep. It was kinda cold this morning, maybe that’s why. The low last night was 54 degrees, it had rained, and it was very wet out. When we finally did get up, we turned the heat on – in August!
Day 110 – It rained all night and continued through the morning, 56 degrees. The wind increased throughout the day. Rob had to take the screened tent down when the roof collapsed inward – just a little too much for the tent and we didn’t want the poles to bend. The high temperature today was 57 degrees and that’s the warmest it’s been all day.

Day 109 – It was 58 degrees when we got up, and very cloudy. The mosquitoes were ravenous for some reason; Rob can attest to that from when he was outside putting things up in preparation for leaving. We had no bugs at all in Harbour Breton, but they were really bad at Bishop’s Falls.

Day 108 – At 7:15 a.m. this morning, it was 61 degrees and very cloudy. We enjoyed our quiet stay at Deadman’s Cove Town Park. The weather was perfect and the scenery was grand. We will come back to this area again.

Day 107 – It was 58 degrees again this morning, but it was cloudy and foggy. By the time we were ready to leave for our final exploratory drive on the Connaigre Peninsula, the fog had lifted and the sun was coming out. Another beautiful day!
Day 106 – 58 degrees and sunny at 7:15 a.m. It was the perfect day for a drive to remote villages. Villages that have been around a long time, formerly outport villages accessible only by water, and when the roads were put in, the villages didn’t change much.
Day 105 – We slept in this morning; the kitties were very kind to let us do so. It was supposed to rain, and it was very cloudy. The temperature was 64 degrees and there was a nice breeze. You can hear the ocean waves from here. Love that sound.
Day 104 – It was cloudy and 61 degrees this morning at around 7:30 a.m. We hung around the RV all day, only because when it did clear up we’d already gotten about halfway through our chores. So why not finish?
