FEEL BETTER, LIZ!!!

Day 396 – Today was a long day. The rain from the storm had already begun when we left the campground and drove to Easton, 1-1/4 hours away. We picked Gail up around 11 a.m. and drove to Baltimore where Gail had an appointment. We stopped at a restaurant on Kent Island, The Narrows, and Gail treated us to a great lunch. More Crab – YUM!

After Gail’s appointment in Baltimore, we headed back towards the Eastern Shore of MD where Easton is located. It’s normally about 1-1/2 hours from Easton to Baltimore, and you have to cross the Bay Bridge which funnels lots of traffic between the two shores of the Chesapeake. Traffic was at a standstill way before we even reached the bridge. It took at least an extra hour of sitting in the rain to get to Easton. Long day. We did get to spend the day with Gail, and that was a GOOD thing! When we got back to the RV, the girls were not happy with us. Enough being gone already, they glared. Are they spoiled, or what?!
