TRAVEL DAY
From: Salina KOA Holiday Campground, Salina, KS.
To: Kansas City East/Oak Grove KOA Holiday Campground, Oak Grove, Missouri.
Day 372 – We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto. Yes, we crossed over the border today from Kansas into Missouri. Moving right along. It was 28 degrees this morning at 7 a.m. The high today was 45 degrees. Brrrr.

We departed the KOA in Salina, KS at 9:25 a.m. Our entire journey was on Interstate 70. Exciting stuff. Kansas City, KS became Kansas City, MO and it felt like we were traveling through permanent CITY. We barely noticed the sign welcoming us to Missouri.

We arrived at the KOA in eastern Kansas City, MO (Oak Grove) at 12:55 p.m. It was 41 degrees and sunny. We were directed to site #27, a pull-through with full hook-ups. We had lunch first, then quickly set up camp. This is another one night stopover. Tomorrow we drive to Springfield, MO.

After unpacking, we drove into the City to a Half-Price Books, one of our favorite places to get good quality used books. We had some books to trade in, and a couple of hours later after checking out the inventory of the store, we walked out with our bag full again. We had an early dinner at Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
