BEARS, BEARS, AND MORE BEARS!
Day 262 – Up early this morning and it was NOT raining! We had a wonderful boat trip with Jamie’s Whaling Station, looking for Black Bears. It was 54 degrees, cloudy and foggy in places, with a light wind when we arrived at the dock at 6:25 a.m.

Day 261 – Rain and fog again this morning, we’re glad we changed our Bear Watch trip to tomorrow. It was a humid 54 degrees last night. After lunch when the rain had stopped, we went out to explore Ucluelet, the other popular town in this area.

Day 260 – More than two months ago we made reservations for a Black Bear Watching Trip out of Tofino. It was scheduled for tomorrow morning. When it started raining this morning, we checked the weather and it still didn’t look good for tomorrow. We were worried we wouldn’t be able to change the reservation, but Jamie’s Whaling Station said they could fit us on Thursday’s cruise.
