A RAINBOW.
Day 42 – Still very humid outside when we woke up, 76 degrees and cloudy. It’s like the sky is weighed down with rain, waiting to burst open at any time. We hope it does. Today was laundry day. We drove to the mainland to Milton, the closest laundromat. Three hours later we had completed our major chore when the sky opened up and hallelujah, it poured down rain for at least an hour, then rained lightly on and off for the rest of the afternoon.
A little before sunset, the sun came out between the clouds and gave us a rainbow over Lake Champlain. Rob went down to the landing for pictures. The high today was 84 very humid degrees, 91 degrees in Milton. Click any picture below to see a slideshow.
