Day 35 – It was 36 degrees this morning & sunny, still windy. My knee was aching most of the night, and this morning I was unable to put much weight on that leg. I don’t have any idea what I did to it, but unfortunately, no “Gators of the Lowcountry” for us today. Rob has had a bump between his cheek & ear that’s been sore & it’s getting worse – not looking too good right now. So we made doctor’s appointments for tomorrow in Charleston. It looks like we’ll have to go into the big city after all.
It was a pretty day, and we’re disappointed at the change in our plans. These things happen. We watched the tide go in & out and Rob got some pictures of Egrets out front. Two deer also walked right by, and a cat. The girls were interested in the cat, for sure. Otherwise, we just stayed inside – me, alternating ice & heat on my knee & Rob, working on our taxes and baking a loaf of bread.
