Day 12 – The same ships are still here, the ones that were anchored across the Bay when we got here. We’re trying to figure out why they are just sitting there in a line-up in what looks to be the main channel. Google offers a couple of possibilities. More at 11……

It rained a little last night. Cloudy & dreary this morning, 44 degrees. A few more campers came in yesterday. Everyone has at least one dog. We are an anomaly.

It’s mid-afternoon now, the sun goes in & out of the clouds & it’s colder today. We’ve been hanging out indoors just watching the leisurely activity around us. The ships in the Bay change position with the tides. The Canada Geese are noisy, but we love the sound of them flying over. The guy who’s camping down the row is digging up clams near the pier in front of our RV. His dog is trying to help. It’s really quiet & peaceful here.

There was a decent sunset but no better than we’ve already taken pictures of; we’re getting the impression that every night has a good sunset here. We played several rounds of Backgammon before dinner. Rob won two out of three games. The high today was 50 degrees for a short period of time. Partly sunny. We called the office and extended our stay for two more days.
