TED C. – HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We hope you get a trip to Oak Island for your birthday!
Day 146 – Cloudy, 32 degrees this morning at 7 a.m. The 40-lb. propane tank ran out of fuel early this morning. It was cold in the RV when I got up; the cats were huddled together. Rob was out at the Harbor View pad. When he got back, he disconnected the tank & put it in the car. We went to Lubec to run errands & get the tank refilled.
One of our stops in Lubec was at the post office to pick up a package – our sign had arrived. When we got back to the RV, I put together lunch & he got the sign and our address number hung up. (We’d had the artist do new numbers for us, also.)
We had lunch, then Rob did a little work on the chipper/shredder. The belt he’d gotten in Lubec didn’t fit, so he had to go back to town for a replacement. That one didn’t work either, back to Lubec. The third one worked, but it wasn’t a perfect fit. We’ll stock up on the right belts when we can find them.
My back has been bothering me so he did some chipping & shredding while I stayed indoors and worked on dinner prep. Tonight we had a Thai Peanut Sauce with Shrimp & Scallops served over Angel Hair Pasta. The high today was 46 degrees, cloudy all day, a little windy.

That is an awesome sign!!!
Thanks Gail. We are really happy with how it came out.
Terrific sign design! The cliff hanger locus of the van and the angled tree tell the story. Looks like the ladies can see out the windows. Hardware perfect.
Ted had a cortico-steroid series in his butt on 11/-01 Working!!
Cheers, Diane and Ted
Thanks Diane. The sign does give a good picture of what it’s like to be in our new RV pad. We’re very glad to hear that the shots worked! Our fingers are crossed that it continues working!
Yes. Love the sign. I probably missed this. Did you design yourself?
Hi Ann,
Yep, we designed it and sent it off to a company we found on Etsy.com that makes them.
I agree……the sign is quite handsome!
Hi Vicki & Rob..Thanks for B’Day wishes. We had a good day. No trip to Oak Island but I watched the series premier last night! Safe trip home. We look forward to seeing you both. Cheers, Ted
