Day 116 – Another beautiful sunny day, not a cloud in the sky, cold & 38 degrees at 7 a.m. When it warms up a little, we’ll head out to Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge. These fall colors are amazing!

Day 115 – Full sun, no clouds, 46 degrees, lovely at 7:30 a.m. Rob sat outside with his coffee. He said the harbor water is already clearing & is now a brown green. It helps everytime the tide goes in & out. Rob is off working in the woods. From inside the RV, I have a very nice view of the sun sparkling on the water. Looks like we’ll be visiting the screened tent this afternoon.

Day 114 – I guess it was allergies; I felt fine today. 44 degrees this morning, cloudy. When Rob was sitting by the tent with his coffee, a Bald Eagle flew overhead. Then a Seal came into the harbor, just floating along. He got a picture, but the seal heard the camera and dove, so he didn’t see it again.

Day 113 – It rained really hard last night. The tent was still standing this morning. The rain had stopped by 8 a.m. when Rob went out. Muddy & wet from dripping trees, 52 degrees, cloudy. Not too much happening around here. It did rain a little during the day and only got up to 54 degrees. A bit windy & cold for the tent today.

Day 112 – Cold, 43 degrees. It started raining at 7:45 this morning and it rained steadily all day. One of those indoor kind of days. The kitties love it when it rains & we are inside with them all day. And we get to see them when they chase back & forth thru the RV when in manic mode. We took the rainy-day opportunity and caught up with some stuff. Also, cooked for several hours, making large batches of Rob’s Garlic Cheese Bread to freeze & lots of fixings for Fish Tacos. Ted stopped by for a visit. Thanks, Ted, good seeing you! The high was a whopping 53 degrees, lots of rain, windy at times.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RON! WE HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT CELEBRATION!
Day 111 – Rain this morning, 50 degrees, very cloudy. It wasn’t long before it stopped raining, but it remained cloudy all day. In the afternoon Rob went outside to do a little work, and it turned into several hours of tree cutting & clearing. He loves this kind of work. The view now extends all the way along the cliff, through the remaining trees, to the water. And except for a couple of dead trees, that part is finished. It looks great & the remaining live trees should thrive with the increase in sunlight & more room to grow.

Day 110 – Last day of September; this month just flew by! We had thought it would be another warm, sunny day but that didn’t happen. The weather here is quite changeable & the weather forecast is often wrong. 40 degrees when we got up & cold outside when Rob had his coffee, cloudy, windy.

Day 109 – Very foggy this morning when Rob went to the cliff with his coffee. 50 degrees, 7 a.m. Very low tide; all he saw was Kingfishers. The girls are doing great, no problems there, knock on wood. By 10 a.m. the fog had cleared, looked like a gorgeous day. We left to run an errand & to get breakfast before whalewatching.
