Day 94 – Good Day Sunshine. Rob was up at 6:30, sat outside with the camera & watched the Loons, then took a bike ride, 60 degrees. I slept in; I didn’t sleep well early on, had trouble getting to sleep. The kitties were active – that didn’t help. The people (like us) with waterview campsites are sticking around. It helps that the fall camping season is here & people can come in without reservations; they can just grab an open campsite & stay as long as they like. People arrive during the day & drive thru, just pick an unoccupied site that they like. There are plenty of open sites, it’s just the waterview sites that are taken for now.

We had some chores to take care of and decided to do them in the morning to free up the afternoon for relaxing or kayaking in the Bay. Empied trash, dumped tanks & filled the fresh water tank (got sandwiched in a line at the dump station between a large 5th-wheel trailer & a large Class A Bus, and it took a little while). Even for the short drive to the dump station, when we have to take the RV somewhere, we have to package things up inside so they don’t slide around, then unpack again when we get back to the campsite, the leveling must be done again, & the girls go back into the bedroom. Of course, they think that anytime they are put away behind a closed door, it will be a long journey & that we are changing campgrounds again. They always appear surprised, and happy, when we let them back out & we are back in the same place.

Got all set up again & did some cooking, another chore. We made a batch of garlic bread, froze most of it, and cooked up some Salmon Bacon for future SBLT sandwiches for lunches. Chores done, we had lunch & headed out to the tent. The high today was 75 degrees, sunny, breezy.  A beautiful sailboat went by – a lovely day for sailing. We decided not to kayak – we prefer to go at high tide & it was lower than we like at this time. Took a few pictures, had a little beer & wine, then soup & garlic bread for dinner.

Congrats Jen!! Great job Kelleigh! Steph, Lin, everyone, thank you! Now on to November! (If we are home early, I will def help.)
