Day 42 – Very noisy this morning, but pleasant out at 65 degrees. We walked the entire small campground after going online to see which campsites were reserved for the future & which would be free as of today. Most campers that were leaving today were gone by 11 a.m.  We decided to move to site #3U for 4 days. The campground should be quieter during the week.

This campsite is big enough for the RV, the car, and the screened tent. According to the park ranger this small loop of sites is quieter because it’s off the main campground road, so not every vehicle that goes by, must drive by the campsite. Because it’s supposed to be 85 degrees today, we went ahead and cooked our next several days of dinner (a huge pot of chili) in the morning when it was cooler before moving from site #30M to site #3U around noon.

It was quite warm today; the breeze helped somewhat. Neither of us, nor the kitties, felt like moving around much. We were glad at the hottest part of the day & evening that we’d already cooked. Somewhat quieter this afternoon and tonight. Most of the other campers are leaving tomorrow.
