Day 223 – Warmer here, 43 degrees this morning, cloudy. More campers came in but the campground was not even half full. There is a lock and dam nearby & it’s been interesting watching the activity when a big barge comes through.
We had leftover chili for lunch, then drove to Ottawa (a town about 15 minutes from here, NOT in Canada). We stopped at a couple of auto parts stores before Rob found the electrical connector he was looking for. It was for the air compressor to pump up the tires, a replacement for a part that burnt out.
A lazy day, we drove all around the State Park checking out the road conditions for the possibility of a bike ride tomorrow; the wind had picked up so today wouldn’t be good. We stopped to pay the campground host for another night here, then returned to the RV for more relaxation. Tough day, LOL. The high today was 61 degrees, cloudy, windy.
