Day 81 – No one here, we have the whole campground to ourselves. Planning to hang out & enjoy the Park today, but NO. The previous fix of our furnace at home didn’t last. Temperatures were in the low 40’s again in the house this morning. 8 a.m. this morning and 38 degrees when we got up. We had no cell signal to call the energy company, so we promptly left to drive to a location for the phone call.

R.I.P., MAURICE HINCHEY. THANK YOU!
Day 80 – Sadly, our Congressman for 20 years, Maurice Hinchey, passed away last week; the funeral is today. Maurice always did the right thing for us, putting the people first; it certainly hasn’t been the same since he retired around 4 years ago. He is missed, for sure.
