Day 97 – We were up by 7:30 a.m., 47 degrees & the sun was about to come up. A decent breeze going, but still warmer here than it’s been lately. It was clear this morning, YAAA, but it started getting hazy out later in the morning. We went outside with our coffee & sat by the Bay, watching all the birds dive for breakfast. The Park is still surprisingly quiet. Lots of reserved campsites have yet to be filled. We don’t mind.

It reached 62 degrees today, mostly sunny, a beautiful day. The girls like it here and spent most of the day in the sun, moving around the RV following the sun as it moved.

My cousin, Ann, arrived around lunch time & we went out to lunch in Bodega Bay. The food was good; we sat for quite awhile looking out over the water, watching the birds. It was good to catch up, but our Uncle is very ill & that weighed heavily on our minds. After lunch we went back to the campground & sat out in the sun overlooking the Bay. It was wonderful to see Ann and we really enjoyed her visit. Thank you for coming, Ann!

Tomorrow we’ll be taking a drive south, and on the way to the State Park we’ll be scouting out for the future, we’ll be stopping at a bakery recommended by Ann for some fresh sticky buns & fresh-baked walnut bread. We always enjoy these drives along the coast, but we hope the roads will be decent and not over winding cliffs. We’ll be camping next near to Point Reyes National Seashore, but we want to make sure in advance that we can get the RV there safely.
