HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TED C.! WE HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR DAY. WE’LL TOAST TO YOU WHEN WE GET BACK (LOOKING FORWARD TO IT).

TRAVEL DAY

From: Forked Run State Park, Reedsville, OH.

To: Chestnut Ridge Regional Park, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia (WV).

Day 390 – It was warm and humid when we got up this morning. We are feeling better, not 100%, but less tired. Maybe today we’ll get hungry and eat some regular food. Today we cross into the hills of West Virginia. We took our time packing up again this morning.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TED C.!

TRAVEL DAY: THURMONT, MARYLAND TO BRUCETON MILLS, WEST VIRGINIA.

Day 26 – We hope you had a wonderful birthday, Ted. Hi Carol. Did you guys go somewhere fun for dinner?

It was 38 degrees this morning when we got up at 7:30 a.m. While we got ready to leave for our next campground, the girls lined up on the dashboard and looked out the windshield at the Sparrows walking around on the roof of the Honda. Kept them occupied until they realized we were packing up.

WEST VIRGINIA, MOUNTAIN MAMA, TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROADS.

Day 84 – Last night was the first time we’d ever spent the night in our RV in West Virginia. Therefore, we could put another sticker on our map of states where we’d camped overnight. We were up around 7 a.m.; it was raining and had been half the night. This was a great campground & we’d stay longer if we weren’t needing to get home. We departed Chief Logan State Park at 10:10 a.m., taking a few pictures on the way out. It was 54 degrees with just a drizzle of rain.
