Day 69 – We left Babler State Park at 9:05 a.m., (53 degrees & sunny), we were heading for Charlestown, Indiana and a long-awaited visit with my daughter, Pam, who lives in Louisville, Kentucky, about 40 minutes from our campground, Charlestown State Park. We had never met her two dogs (the grandkids), Simone and Ginji, nor had we ever seen her house. So excited. We had driven through KY briefly in 1989 (but she didn’t live there yet) when moving from Southern CA to Poughkeepsie, NY, and remembered the State to be quite beautiful. We were not disappointed in this visit.
