RAIN, RAIN, RAIN.
Day 6 – It rained most of the night and it was pouring down when we got up this morning. By 9 a.m. the temperature outside had reached its peak for the day, 59 degrees; then the thermostat started dropping. The rain did not continue at that heavy rate but it was at least drizzling all day. VERY muddy out, but in this weather we had no desire to leave the RV. The cats said: Oh goody! It’s a snuggling day.

Day 5 – 64 degrees and overcast; it’s supposed to rain today around noon. We took a nice drive along the Clarion River, stopping along with another car to watch Guinea Hens nonchalantly cross the road. It was a beautiful two-lane, winding road that followed the River. Part of the drive was thick with Rhododendron bushes; it would be amazing to see those in bloom in the spring!

Day 4 – 7:30 a.m. this morning, 52 degrees & very foggy. No bike ride for us. It was fairly cool and wet this morning with heavy fog. Rob packed up the tent in preparation for our departure from this campground. Check-in at the next campground isn’t until after 3 p.m. Bald Eagle State Park became busy and loud. The timing of our stay worked out perfectly, and happily, we know we have reservations at Cook Forest State Park to get us through the weekend.
