AN INTERESTING DRIVE.
Day 8 – It rained during the night and was 44 degrees this morning when we got up. Cold and windy. The sun peeked in and out of the clouds all day. The high today was 55 degrees later in the afternoon.

TRAVEL DAY: COOKSBURG, PA TO SIGEL, PA.
Day 7 – It’s dark in the morning when we get up. That causes us to sleep later. We’re looking forward to the daylight savings time change coming up next month; it might drag us out of bed at an earlier time. The rain stopped and brought in much colder weather – it was 47 degrees, sunny and windy this morning when we got up. We had to turn the heat on. The girls appreciated that! After lunch we are leaving for the short drive to Clear Creek State Park. The campground we’re in now closes for the season today. Check-in time at Clear Creek is 3 p.m.
