HAPPY  BIRTHDAY,  KAREN!!  DID YOU GET A SNOW DAY FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY??

Day 116 – It was 47 degrees, partly cloudy, & breezy at 8:30 a.m. this morning. It rained during the night. Not so dry out now. The Park is surprisingly quiet considering its size & proximity to Highway 152. It’s only less than half full & most of those campers are full-timers & seasonals. They are in a different section of the Park. I imagine they are jammed full in the summer. The kitties were enjoying the sunlight on the dashboard once they ventured off their heating pads.

We took a walk around lunch time to check out the Casa de…..whatever……places and maybe grab a quick, small lunch.

See?  It was true.  I was not making this up, LOL.  We got burritos to go at Casa de Burrito: ½ each for today and 1 each for tomorrow. They were good. The various Casa de Stores were really just a big tourist trap, but those oranges looked SO good.

We left at 3:30 p.m. to drive to San Jose to visit my cousin, Mary. We’d been in this area before, the last time was awhile ago though. We were amazed with the city sprawl; Silicon Valley obviously continues to do well. We had a great visit with Mary & her husband, Rainer; such a great couple, and Mary – thank you for your hospitality and a wonderful dinner! Next time we are in this area, you will come to our tiny house for dinner.

We got back to the RV about 10 p.m.  The girls wondered if we’d deserted them but forgot entirely that we’d been gone once we fed them. Just the basic needs, that’s all they require. We read our books & relaxed; the Park was quiet even though more campers had arrived. The high today was 64 degrees, cloudy, and light rain in the evening.
