STRONG WINDS.
Day 367 – We had thought about leaving today, but the winds are just too strong. If they are shaking the RV when we’re just sitting here and we have trees and bushes around us for protection, being on the open road would be dangerous. Tomorrow the winds are supposed to be lower in the morning than they were today, then they’ll build back up again. Therefore, to leave tomorrow (we have reservations elsewhere), we’ll have to leave before the sun comes up.
It was another hunker-down day for us. The trees are very strong here; you can tell they are used to the winds. We are not. The girls were jumpy and nervous today, sticking close to us, and each other. There’s safety in numbers.

We stayed inside until after dinner when the wind died down a little. We packed up the RV and drove north to the Main Area of the SRA so we could dump tanks. There is no dump station at the campground here and we don’t want to drive with full tanks tomorrow. Back at the campground after dumping, we unpacked partially since we’re leaving tomorrow. The girls were confused. They don’t know whether they’re coming or going. Neither do we. Early to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.
