A QUIET DAY.
Day 201 – It rained hard all night and into the morning, then rained lightly until later in the afternoon. We may have a day without rain tomorrow. WOW. It will be a travel day for us as we leave Oregon and head north to Washington. We LOVED the Oregon coast! Great people, plenty to do, and really gorgeous scenery. We hope to come back again.
We hooked up with the cousins one more time before they headed back home today. We met in Astoria for breakfast. It was nice, and altogether we had a wonderful time. Thanks so much all of you for taking the time to meet up with us. It was truly lovely. We hope to see you in Alberta, Canada in September.
This campground, Fort Stevens State Park, has been a great stop. The Park is huge, one of the largest we’ve stayed at. It was fully booked over the weekend; we were glad we got a camping site. We would definitely stay here again.
