MEANWHILE IN BELFAST.
Day 119 – “Meanwhile in Belfast” is the name of an excellent pizza restaurant in Belfast, but unfortunately it wasn’t open last night. Looks like we’ll miss it this visit. Rob missed his time at the cliff this morning, too.
This morning we went into town to the excellent Co-op they have here. Rob was running out of the good almond butter he uses in his protein drink, and we figured they’d carry his brand – they did. Fantastic fresh produce and great for grocery shopping, they also have lots of pre-prepared packaged meals. Due to COVID the cafe’ was closed, so we got several meals to go. We wanted to hurry back to the RV because a storm was due to arrive.
Later in the afternoon a thunderstorm arrived with very dark, fast moving clouds. It had been threatening all day, and when it rained, it poured. Tomorrow we leave for Freeport, ME and Wolfe’s Neck Campground, the organic farm campground where the cows roam. We had a good stopover in Belfast, as usual.
