SEABIRDS IN THE FOG.

Day 91 – Well, we take that back. There occasionally is a weak signal here. It must come and go with the fog, because right now, the fog is truly here. Last night it was so thick, all we could see was this small parking lot. Today, more of the same. It’s been cool & windy, too. I don’t know how many birds we’ll see if this keeps up! (It’s still a lot better than this awful heat wave many of you are experiencing., so we aren’t complaining.)

It remained very foggy, cool and windy all day. Rob went to the Ecological Reserve after lunch and got some foggy, but great pictures of the birds and their chicks. Some of those pictures and a video are below.

Otherwise, it was a foggy stay-at-home day. We made bread and some cookies, and that’s about it. From what we’ve heard, it’s usually very foggy here in July. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
