TERNS ON ICE.

Day 49 – 39 degrees this morning and still foggy. It got fairly windy last night and we got a little rain. We’re staying at the campground today. Tomorrow we’ll be driving to a new campground, Notre Dame Provincial Park. We should have a signal there since it’s not too far from a couple of larger cities. That’s the thing, though, we really can’t be sure until we get to each new location whether we’ll have an internet signal.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES.

Day 44 – It rained hard all night last night and was 36 degrees when we got up, still raining. That was the high temperature today – 36 degrees. The temperature never went up, hitting 34 degrees briefly but staying mostly at 35. It continued raining all day and all night. We were afraid we might get snow, and since we’re traveling in the RV tomorrow, that wouldn’t be a good thing. It just rained so we lucked out. The wind picked up during the afternoon. Summer is not here yet; spring has barely arrived.

WHAT A DAY!

Day 43 – It was 42 degrees and sunny this morning when we got up. A great day for exploring, we departed the RV at 9:25 a.m. What all did we see today? Small villages, snow, rivers, trees, goats, flowers, tiny outport towns, lakes, moose #6, rough roads, helpful friendly people, ice pack in the distant sea, a fox, mountains, waterfalls, birds and icebergs. It was a good day.
