A COLD, CLOUDY DAY.

Day 6 – Another cloudy morning when we got up, 43 degrees. Today’s morning constitutional consisted of one sighting, an Osprey flying over the harbor. Slow day here at the water, but not at the RV.

Rob waited until later this morning, then after leaving 2 messages with no response from the local guy regarding the trees resting on the power lines, he called a number for a tree-cutting service. They responded quickly and came out before noon to check out the trees. We contracted with them to do the work. Since the power would need to be off for the job, we decided to just let the work be done after we leave for Canada. So we won’t be moving to the lower trailer pad closer to the water this visit, but the driveway will be clear when we are back here in October. We are happy here at the upper pad in the woods for this visit.

We both spent many hours working on the plans for Newfoundland. Since the Provincial Park reservations system opens early tomorrow morning, we knew we had to be ready with a list of our choices of campsites & dates needed beforehand. It didn’t get over 45 degrees today and remained cloudy.
