A BEAUTIFUL MAINE DAY IN THE WOODS.

Day 4 – We slept very well last night. As we mentioned before, it is very quiet here. All day, the girls were settled in on the dashboard. It was sunny and they loved it. This morning it was 43 degrees, sunny & breezy. Rob took his coffee down the path to his favorite morning constitutional place overlooking the harbor. He saw Juncos, Sea Gulls, and Squirrels. The usual suspects were not around yet.

We stayed busy, mostly inside the RV, cooking several days-worth of Maine Scallops over Angel Hair Pasta with a Creamy Pesto Sauce, and we made a big batch of Rob’s Garlic Bread. We napped and relaxed with our books. And Rob went out and unpacked his tools and the Mighty Chipper-Shredder from the Honda. It’s Sunday and we probably won’t be able to get anyone down here to look at the fallen trees until sometime during the week. We’ll take care of the smaller trees and brush ourselves. The high today was 54 degrees.
