Day 277 – It rained last night and all day today, on & off. We stayed at our campsite. It was nice and quiet when it was raining, but as soon as the rain stopped and until it started up again, it was like a bus-loads of children were let out of their cages at once with all that pent up energy, racing through the campground. We were never a child like that were we? Ho ho.
We spent much of the day cooking, stocking up on already-prepared-meals. We leave the awesome peace and quiet of this campground on Sunday. We are taking a short ferry ride from Campbell River, which is 30 minutes from this campground, to an island where we will stay a week at what is supposed to be an oceanfront campsite (you never know until you get there, but we’re hoping it will be as advertised). We are looking forward to this!
