A BUSY DAY.

Day 111 – The high today was 70 degrees, mostly sunny and a little windy. Rob went out to the cliff. It was quiet, even the Sea Gulls were tiptoeing around. We went into town to the hardware store, the trip we tried to make Saturday and found it was Lubec Pirate Day and there was no parking. Rob got all the supplies he’d wanted for making a barrier for the driveway when we’re not here. We also tried to get some Cobscook Bay Scallops, but they were completely sold out. We’ll keep trying, but I have certainly not gotten enough to fill my freezer for New York yet.

Back at the RV, Rob spent the day working outside, first constructing a cable barrier for both entrances to the land, and then finishing up moving the cut-down trees (two had cracked during storms and were leaning, the other was cut down for the cliff-to-water stairs project). This is a work in progress and will be continued the next time we’re here.

I continued with my computer project – a spreadsheet that will make it easier to prepare for our trips. It’s difficult and time consuming to plan food & supplies for many months in advance. And I keep doing it over and over again, rather than just putting it all online. We finished the day with Scallops in a Thai Peanut Sauce over Angel Hair Pasta.
