Happy Birthday, Lin! We hope you enjoy your day.

Day 87 – 61 degrees this morning and the dense fog is back. It does keep it cool, though, so no complaints here! Rob went out to the cliff for a bit but nothing was happening. Today, more projects.

Tonight, we’re giving a local restaurant, Cohill’s, a try – going out to dinner with friends/neighbors, Suzanne & Michael. When I’d called Cohill’s Thursday night, I got a message which said that due to the overwhelming amount of business this summer, they are no longer able to answer phone calls during work hours. The message stated that they are open between 4 & 8 pm, Friday – Monday, and do not take reservations. After talking with Suzanne, we decided that to insure we’d even be able to get in, we’d need to get to the restaurant before 4 pm, therefore, they are picking us up at 3:25. If we get in, will there be anything good on the menu these days? (They previously have had a decent selection of fresh food on their menu). Fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, work on projects continued with Rob finishing up the refrigerator fan and finishing up the cell phone booster. I prepped food for the next few days’ lunches, put up six cases of cat food that were recently delivered, and continued with planning work for our next trip.

Back from dinner at Cohill’s, it was an enjoyable time with Suzanne & Michael. We arrived a few minutes before they opened; Rob took some pictures of the Lubec wharf area. While the menu had less items than it used to have, there were still enough good items to choose from. Service was slow but there was only one person cooking. All tables were occupied but there wasn’t a wait, at least when we were there. The food and drinks were good & reasonably priced. All is not lost in Lubec! The high today was 66 degrees and it was foggy much of the time.
